Work Unit Actions Types
Objectives:
With this development we want to give to the WPMS user more control on the work units creation.
To achieve this objective we change the report AL118, in order to make a more dynamic screen and give the user the opportunity to decide where he want the work unit action is taking place if in the beginning of the wor unit or in the end of the work unit.
Differences in the Report Work Unit Management.
Global -> Global Application -> Warehouse Management -> Tailoring -> Actions and Working Units -> Work Unit Management [AL118].

Old Characteristics Box

New Characteristics Box
As you can see in the images above there ware removed several characteristics from the Characteristics Box, this characteristics were added to a new list presented in the end of this screen

New Characteristics List
In this list we gone choose what kind of work unit action type we want on our work unit and where we wanted. In the beginning or in the end.
We advice when we want our action type in the beginning give an Execution sequence negative just to be certain the action type it will be in the beginning of the work unit, as for the end that should be give a big number to the execution sequence. As you can see in the image above.
Next we gone show a table who show you the actions types to the old characteristics parameters.

* In the Label Declaration we had several options and in this options we had the option to choose the printer where we want the label be printed. Now if we want this action to happened we need to define the action type on the action types list.
We also add a new action type

This new work unit action type, is to declare the Transport Accessories in the end of the picking work units types.

Because for this action type we need 2 actions:
- Declare the container;
- Declare the transport accessories in the container.
We need to fill the list 2 times with this action type and just change the sequence to the actions as you can see in the image above.
Configure the actions to the work unit actions types.
Global -> Global Application -> Warehouse Management -> Tailoring -> Actions and Working Units -> Work Unit Management [AL118].

In this screen now is possible to define the action we want execute to the work unit actions type we define before, as you can see in the image the actions we define before are the ones selected in the column Action WU, to make this screen more readable we show the work unit actions types we define to be in the beginning, on top of the list, next is showing the document actions types, and at the end the actions types we defined to be in the end. Next we just need to choose what action this actions types will perform.
The columns Lines and Extra Information, are ignored with the work unit actions types.
