Objectives
The main objective is to have news parameters in the allocation rules definition in order to be possible to configure onew controls that can be used in the allocation pallet that managed validity date.
A new allocation rule in order to be possible to allocate a pallet in picking (if the picking bin is empty) if its validity date is lower than the ones that are on buffer position. If a pallet with lower expiration date exists in buffer position the pallet to allocate should goes to buffer position. If a pallet with bigger expriation date exists in buffer position the pallet to allocate should goes to picking position, if picking bin is empty.
Allocation rule Configuration
Global Application → Application → Warehouse Management → Application → Warehouse Management → Goods Issue → Tailoring >Spaces-> Containers to Structure Allocation Rules [AD031]

3.1 → View Rules allocation

3.2 → Change Rules allocation

Behavior of the new allocation rule:
In the AD031 settings a further condition “Check Expiration Date” was created to allow a pallet to be allocated to the picking (if the picking box is empty) if its expiration date is smaller than the other pallets that are in the buffer position.
The behavior should be:
- If a pallet with lower expiration date exists in buffer position the pallet to allocate should goes to buffer position.
- If a pallet with bigger expriation date exists in buffer position the pallet to allocate should goes to picking position, if picking bin is empty.
This new filed/s “Check Expiration Date” that allow to perform this allocation just be valid if the allocation rule doesn´t have the parameter “Force in Picking” selected.
If the parameter “Force in Picking” exist it will overlap the new behaviour for validity date control.
